Supplies:
- 2 paper plates
- colored paper (at least 3 different colors)

Instructions:
Flowers:Cut out flower and leaf designs from colored paper. You can usually find flower patterns on the Internet.

Assemble flowers by layering smaller pieces over larger ones.
Use a small dot of glue in the center of each piece to secure.

Basket:
Make a basket by cutting a paper plate in half. Glue half of the plate to a full paper plate, right sides together, to form a pocket. (Refer to photo)
Glue pipe cleaner flowers to the inside of the pocket. Randomly glue on leaves. Punch a hole in the top of the basket and tie a string or piece of yarn through it for hanging.

St. Patrick's Day Drawing/Writing Assignment
One of my favorite things to do with my kiddos is to get them thinking/talking...I love asking them questions and hearing their answers...it can get quite hysterical! :)
My idea for this is to have the kids DRAW in the boxes the four steps to catching a leperchaun...then they will explain the drawings to me and I will write in the boxes what the illustrations depict.

Rubber Band Painting
Place a piece of paper on a baking sheet and wrap rubber bands around the whole thing.
Paint the rubber bands. ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF PAINT IS NEEDED!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!!
Pull back the rubber bands and let them go.
Rotate the paper and repeat. It's fun. And messy.
