Autumn Children's Book Review

Good Morning, Educators!

Just thought I'd share some of the Fall stories
I've been reading to the Thomas Jefferson Kids.

Enjoy!

These first few books are very easy reads!
In fact, I had my younger kids (kindergarten and first grade)
read them to me! :)
"I See Fall" by Charles Ghinga
"The Leaves on the Trees" by Thom Wiley
"Let It Fall" by Maryann Cocca-Leffler

The next three books had bigger words
so I had to do the reading,
but the kids LOVED them
and the illustrations were adorable!

"Squirrel's Fall Search" by Anita Loughrey & Daniel Howarth

"Sneeze, Big Bear, Sneeze!" by Maureen Wright
In reference to the story line,
this one was my favorite!
Very cute!

"By the Light of the Harvest Moon" by Harriet Ziefert
In reference to the illustrations,
this one was my favorite!
GORGEOUS pictures that will make you CRAVE all things autumn! :)

Thank you for viewing my Children's Book Review!
I would love to know what your favorite autumn books for kids are!
Happy Fall, Everyone!

Grandparent's Day Card {"Owl" Always Love You}

Happy Autumn!
Okay, I realize it's a little early...
its not OFFICIALLY fall yet, but I'm so excited!
I can't wait!!!! :)

Grandparent's Day always gets me in the mood for fall
because I always MAKE my grandparents
something fallish in celebration of the day.

This year, I had my TJ kids make Grandparent's Day cards with me.
Check them out!

Getting to Know You Kids Craft

Good Evening, Educators!
At the beginning of a new school year,
I always like to get to know a little bit about the kids
I will be working with.
This year instead of playing a get-to-know-you game,
I decided to make it a craft.

What do you think? :)

You can find the complete tutorial here
