Tissue Paper Stained-Glass Window Tutorial

Good Evening!
Here is another craft from "Around the World" week!
Thursday we "visited" France.
I showed the kiddos photos of the famed Notre Dame Cathedral
and we then made our own Tissue Paper Stained Glass windows.

For instructions on how to make them,

Just a Reminder...

Good Morning, Educators!

I read this quote today and thought it was worth sharing.

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
- Benjamin Franklin

If you work with children in ANY way,
YOU are impacting their future.
Let's make sure we are POSITIVELY impacting them!
Don't be afraid to leave your fingerprints on a child's life.

Remember how important you are and that you are making a difference!

Thank you for all you do!

P.S. I have some EXCITING projects
to share with you in the VERY near future!
Keep checking in!

How to Draw a Panda

Good Afternoon, Everyone!

Today was the first day back to school
and I JUMPED IN WITH BOTH FEET!
Our theme for the week is "Around the World".
Today we are starting off with China.

This morning, I "taught" my darling little children
how to draw a Panda Bear.
(Basically, I sat the template in front of them
and just "guided" them when necessary!)

The kids and staff alike did GREAT with it!

Check out some of the finished products!

Hope you and your kids have fun with this too! :)

French Stained Glass Craft for Kids (found on Pinterest)

Stained glass is small pieces of colored glass arranged to form a picture usually in a window.  Stained glass windows are abundant in France’s famous cathedrals including the Notre Dame cathedral, as stained glass was popular during early gothic times when these structures were built.
Have fun making your own French style stained glass pictures with this fun and easy craft!  Talk with your child about the way different colors make them feel, and why they think people put windows like this in buildings.
