French Stained Glass Craft for Kids (found on Pinterest)

Stained glass is small pieces of colored glass arranged to form a picture usually in a window.  Stained glass windows are abundant in France’s famous cathedrals including the Notre Dame cathedral, as stained glass was popular during early gothic times when these structures were built.
Have fun making your own French style stained glass pictures with this fun and easy craft!  Talk with your child about the way different colors make them feel, and why they think people put windows like this in buildings.
